Co-developed, directed, and edited award winning short film “Bubble”.

Other duties have included: character modeling and design; application and workflow design; film editing; story editing; and teaching.

Producer/Director , Shout Interactive/Eyematic Interfaces, San Francisco CA, 2000-2001
Created real-time and rendered 3-D animations highlighting the use of facial motion capture and the creation of realistic 3-D characters. These animations were created for a wide variety of platforms including, rendered video, accelerated real-time Internet, plug-in-less Java, and Next Generation wireless devices. Tasks include animation direction, 3-D modeling and character animation, character rigging, directing performance animation & voice acting, scriptwriting, and project & team management.


Creative Director / Technical animation lead , infoplasm, San Francisco CA, 1997-2000
infoplasm was a six-person studio focused on real-time, Interactive 3-D content development for the computer and advertising industries. My tasks included art direction, character design, 3-D modeling and animation, technical direction, scriptwriting & dialogue, as well as team & project management. Key clients included: Eyematic Interfaces, Intel, ZDNet, Ogilvy & Mather, Datafusion, CMP Media and others.

In-house Consultant , Intervista, San Francisco CA, 1996-1997
Brought in to focus on animation and 3D design, for a cutting edge developer of web 3D. Duties included various animation and design tasks, including the "VRML Circus", a very early exploration of characters and art in web 3D.

Freelance Animator\CG Artist , Contract, San Francisco CA, 1995-1996
Worked on a large variety of CG projects. Primarily character and environment design and construction, as well as animation for CD- ROM games, game prototypes, broadcast animation, and even the Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge CD-ROM.

3D Artist , Amazing Media, San Anselmo CA, 1993-1995
Created art and animation for the CD-ROM game "Frankenstein: through the eyes of the monster", starring Tim Curry, and published by Interplay. Acted as lead artist on the unpublished “Aftermath”.

An introduction to the basics of cinematography for CG animators. This award-winning book was published in foreign editions as well.

Presented a variety of animation and design classes, including “Virtual Lighting” and “3D Storytelling”. Also participated in ”Building a 3D Team”, a panel on team design and work strategy for web 3D.
